Facebook Credits Now Available

Hello mobsters –

You may have noticed that the Godfather page looks a little bit different today. We removed a lot of extra text, added some large gold and green buttons, and more clearly display the prices on the page. But more importantly, Mob Wars now uses Facebook Credits. Facebook Credits are a form of premium currency that is specific to your Facebook account, and that can be used on any Facebook game that accepts them. Just like Mob Wars uses “Favor Points” as its premium currency, Facebook uses these “credits.” Starting on July 1st, all games on Facebook are required to switch to Facebook Credits as their only form of in-game currency*.

So what does this mean for you? Well, not much really changes…the prices, point values, and payment methods are all the same. However, there is now one extra step between you and your points. Instead of just buying your Godfather Points directly like before, now you have to buy Facebook Credits, which are then converted into Godfather Points for use in Mob Wars. So, when purchasing points you will see an extra Facebook dialog box that looks like this:

So the advantage of using these points to you, as a player, is the option to spend the Facebook Credits that you have purchased in any game that you want. Also, you can save your payment information on Facebook so that it makes it a little easier to get through the purchase process. We hope you enjoy how Facebook Credits are now integrated into Mob Wars! If you have any comments or questions, feel free to post and let us know! Thank you!
